IRONGATE is set during the Industrial Revolution of Victorian England, in the shadow of the Crimean War.

It is the story of one woman's journey to the heart of the Irongate dynasty; the dynasty that created the cannon that would change the face of war in Europe.

The story of Irongate is set over three seasons each containing ten episodes and spans over forty years, from the aristocratic world of Paris to the private chambers of Queen Victoria herself. We see the bloodstained fields of the Crimean and in contrast the quiet idyllic hills of Sussex which hold a dark secret.
